I was a pretty cool kid

I don't remember writing this, but my friends reached a consensus that I must have written it because A) my name is on the cover, and B) they swear up and down that they could not spell half those words in second grade.

I wrote Velociraptor with a friend when we were 8-ish years old. I moved to a different city and we did not see each other for years and years. Then we ended up at the same college. Last month, I ran into him at the bus stop and he was like WAIT I HAVE OUR DINOSAUR BOOK

And I was like WHAT DINOSAUR BOOK

And he was like THE ONE WE MADE IN SECOND GRADE

And I was like WHAAAAAT

And he really had it. He brought it to college with him. Coolest kid ever. ♥

It's so sweet when you meet up with people from long ago - recently I was reconnected (via facebook) to a little boy who gave me a purple stapler for my 12th birthday (which I still have in a semi-functional condition...it's held together by bandaids...)

Actually, my friend tn had a story from when she was really young and lived back in China. This little boy had a crush on her and would always be running around trying to show/give her things he'd found. Like once, he ran into the girls' restroom just so he could show her a snail he'd stolen from the cook. Later, he bought her a vase with scented sand and glass flowers in it. tn was just young and clueless at the time. On her way home from school, she accidentally broke the vase.

Of course, my friends and I turned this whole story into a parody Asian drama, complete with car accidents and amnesia. We worked on it for a year and it was a lot of fun, haha ^_^

I was even turning it into a manga for a while! xD;

Ha, ha. That book is actually pretty good. In second grade my class made books as an assignment. Mine was about crayons. I think yours was a lot cooler.

Ahaha, mine was pretty gory for an eight-year-old's creation! (I'm sure the blood and gore was all me, too, because Nathan is the sweetest kid ever and would never draw things killing each other haha)

Haha, the book is quite awesome. X3 I wrote a book about dragons in the second grade, but I don't think I ever finished it.
Ohhh... Jurassic Park. I haven't seen that movie in years. I remember watching parts of it as a kid, and being totally convinced that dinosaurs were still alive and roaming remote, tropical islands.
